Phone Rehab retreat
30 October – 1 November 2026
Can you switch off without checking your phone?
The phone has become our entertainment, workplace and escape route from every free moment.
This retreat is a 48-hour break from the battle for your attention – with inspiring talks, honest conversations, yoga, sauna gus, nature, good food and two days without the phone.
🔒We lock the phones away – and open up to something else.
With humour, curiosity and seriousness we explore our digital habits. We laugh at ourselves, share our experiences and get wiser about why it can be so hard to put the phone down.
Mads Vestergaard, a philosopher with a master's degree from the University of Copenhagen, specialising in the philosophy of technology, offers new perspectives on our relationship with technology.
Thomas Vass, CEO of Kirsebærkroen and a philosopher with a keen interest in how we can become more independent of our gadgets, invites reflection and new perspectives.
Anna Hvas, owner of Kirsebærkroen, psychotherapist (MPF) and restorative yoga teacher, creates a safe setting where you can land in your body and find calm.
You get practical tools for everyday life and a weekend with room for laughter, reflection and presence.
This retreat is not about treatment or being cured of an addiction. It is about gaining new inspiration, sharing experiences, laughing together and getting a breather from the screens. Just time to breathe, unwind and be present 😊
How bad is it? 😅
Take the short test and find out how bad it is.

Talks & conversations
We alternate between the intellectual
and the physical. Through talks and conversations we explore the attention economy, our digital habits and what happens to concentration, sleep and relationships when our attention is constantly interrupted.
Yoga & sauna gus
And then we practise the alternative: yoga in the morning, sauna gus, walks in nature, good food, community – and time when nothing in particular has to happen.
Tools & a fresh start
On arrival the phones are ceremonially locked away. The rest of the weekend is yours. In the Rehabilitation workshop we turn the theory into everyday life: phone-free zones, app blockers, notifications, sleep and morning routines and concrete replacement habits.
Please note: your registration is binding. If you are prevented from coming, you are welcome to pass your place on to someone else.
Participation is at your own risk.
